Other required courses include: Computer Lab, Yearbook, P.E., and Independent Research Projects. The curriculum also includes the “hands-on” economics of running a “for profit” business. At the end of the year, students use their profits to help pay for the Spring “adventure trip.” On Fridays, regular “outings” are also planned to enable students to actively take part in community service activities and to become acquainted with local community resources.
While all students receive the same basic foundation in all subjects, expectations (according to the developmental level of each child) are determined on an individual basis.
