Montessori School House/Maria Montessori Elementary is Accredited
by the Montessori School Accreditation Commission (MSAC).

MSAC is an accrediting body recognized by the National Council for
Private School Accreditation (NCPSA). While MSAC is working at the
individual school level NCPSA is working at the level of the state
legislatures, state departments of education, the federal government,
the business and corporate community, and various foundations.

Accreditation consists of a twenty step process beginning with the
preparation of a several hundred page Self Study, and concluding
with a 4 day On-Site visit by a team of four educators. These educators
sent out by MSAC observed in each classroom, interviewed staff, examined
our files and the school curriculum, and checked the teaching materials
used in our school.

Our Certificate of MSAC Accreditation is hanging on the wall in the hall
opposite the school office.
